Judge Craig was elected to the 26th Judicial District Court in the fall of 2008 and took office in January of 2009.  Before taking office, he maintained a private practice, served for three years with the Public Defender’s Office and later as an assistant district attorney.  Judge Craig is a past president of the Bossier Bar Association and is a current member of the Shreveport and Louisiana Bar Associations.  He received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and his law degree from Southern University Law Center.  He has served as Chief Judge of the 26th Judicial District Court since 2020.
