Hon. John C. Campbell

Judge John C. Campbell served as Judge of the Minden City Court from 1987 to 2014.  After retiring from the bench, Judge Campbell began serving the 26th Judicial District as Hearing Officer in January of 2017.  In 1992, Judge Campbell and Judge R. Harmon Drew founded a judicial seminar, Nuts and Bolts Judicial Seminar, which still provides continuing education for  Judges, attorneys, clerks and court reporters.  Judge Campbell also serves as a Hearing Officer for the 2nd Judicial District and for the Judicial Administrator of the Louisiana Supreme Court.  Judge Campbell was admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1981 and initially practiced law with his father and uncle in Minden, Louisiana.  Judge John Campbell was appointed by the Judges of the 26th Judicial District Court as Hearing Officer in 2017.
